Soccer Nights North Cambridge
Description
Soccer Nights 2014: For the Love of the Game! It started in July 2008 when a few people had an idea to use soccer as a way to invest in our community and love kids. We expected 30 kids, instead 96 showed up. Kids were divided into teams, led by volunteer coaches. Every night consisted of teams learning soccer techniques, practicing drills, scrimmaging, cheering loudly and eating snacks.
Parents, siblings and neighbors filled the sidelines watching in support, talking to one another and helping to set-up, tear-down and distribute snacks. What started as just an idea turned into four straight nights of people from every age, background and phase of life joining together; all because of soccer.
Soccer Nights is only possible through the help of volunteers like you. Use what you are good at in a way that makes a differences - there's a place for you!
