We would like to give a big shout out to Brooklawn resident Kim Meehan who will be competing for the title of Mrs. New Jersey 2017 on May 21st at Rider University's Yvonne Theatre. The pageant shines a spotlight on today's married women and pays special attention to their unique and vital contribution to the community. Kim will represent Camden County and if she wins the title of Mrs. New Jersey, she will then travel to Orlando, Florida in July to compete for the National title of Mrs.United States 2017. Kim's ambitions are to take her platforms "Purses Full of Hope", which she is a director for and the Travis Manion Foundation, which both Kim and her husband Jim are Ambassadors for and raise awareness on a National level. Kim also recently received the Community Award during a Camden County Freeholders meeting held in Brooklawn in February. Best of luck Kim and congratulations from all of us!
