INSPIRE YOUR HEART WITH ART DAY Always observed on January 31st, Inspire Your Heart With Art Day is a day to ponder how art affects your heart. Art is valued and appreciated for all sorts of reasons. Of the broad spectrum of art created in the world, the pieces that move us to tears or cause us to burst out in joyous laughter remain with us for a lifetime. Whether we are touched through music or see into an artist soul through their work, art has the power to change us, to inspire our hearts. Inspire Your Heart with Art Day encourages us to explore the many genres of art and let it inspire us. HOW TO OBSERVE Visit an art gallery. Read a good book. Listen to music. Attend a ballet performance Start your masterpiece. Teach someone how to play an instrument. Attend an art lecture. Explore a new technique. See an inspirational film. Share your art with others. .....it just so happens that this day will also be the last day to see the Bossier Parish Student Art Show at the Bossier Arts Council - BAC. The 9th annual ARTini Fundraiser benefiting the Bossier Arts Council is setting the scene to take you back to a nightclub in Morocco where romance and espionage are on the menu. This Casablanca themed event will have you dancing the night away. ​ ARTini is a celebration of the art of spirits featuring live music, local artists, and much more. Seventeen area restaurants will create unique martinis and compete for the coveted titles of "Judges Choice", "People's Choice", and "Most M'artisanal". Through funds raised, Bossier Arts Council - BAC is able to sustain programming for the entire year. Our galleries and programs provide services such as our One Stop Program that teaches the business side of art, our galleries which showcase local artists, and our extensive community outreach programs. You'll have until February 15th to take advantage of our "Round Up the Usual Suspects" Promo where you may purchase 2 tickets for $100. Individual tickets are $65 in advance $75 at the door. Tickets include entry to Artini 2018, samplings of each signature martini, live music by Winston Hall, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and of course, the opportunity to take home amazing ART!
