Borger Fire Department is a professional Fire Department The Borger Fire Department is a full time career Fire Department consisting of 26 paid personnel including a Fire Chief, Fire Marshall,3 Captains,3 Lieutenants,6 Drivers,and 12 FireFighters.Borger Fire Department has 3 Special Divisions with elite members that have further extensive training in these fields we have a wildland division, Hazmat Division, and High angle Rescue Division.BFD is dedicated to saving Life and Property to the citizens of Borger and Hutchinson County

We are able to confirm that fire fighter Clay Lozier and fire chief Bob Watson were injured in a fire on 3/9/17. They were taken to Lubbock for treatment. We appreciate the thoughts and prayers for our a speedy recovery.
