CT Express AAU basketball program is competitive and participants must try out to be placed on a team. There is one team for each grade level from 4th to 12th grades. Our four competitive divisions are: High School Boys (grades 9-12) Middle School Boys (grades 6-8) Lower School Boys (grades 4-5) Our teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally. Specific tournaments attended vary every year.

There's an average of 1200-1600 D1 scholarships going out yearly to high school, prep school, overseas, transfers, and junior college kids yearly at the D1 level. Here are a few things coaches are looking for: 1. Size and position 2. Skill and talent level 3. Grades and attitude 4. Baketball IQ and Effort 5 experience and resume. Stop thinking it's a conspiracy when you don't take advantage of the opportunity. It's all about being at the right place at the right time with the right people watching. I guess you can call it luck or just simply being prepared. Judgement day has started and it's coming from your AAU coaches, your high school coaches, other scouts, and other basketball people! Always be prepared, you never know who is watching in the gym!
