Today is Meet the Staff Monday! Today meet Amanda. Amanda is the Board Certified Oncology Registered Dietitian at BCC. Her degrees are in Food/Nutrition and Dietetics and Exercise Science. She enjoys working with patients and their families and helping patients manage their side effects better through nutrition.
Today we are wearing purple for Testicular Cancer Awareness month. Men themselves, not doctors, find most testicular cancers as a painless lump or an enlargement or hardening of the testicle. This is why regular self-exams are so important. Many men with testicular cancer do not feel ill and many times there is no pain involved.
