The Bismarck State College National Energy Center of Excellence (NECE) has a long-standing reputation for quality curriculum which has provided its students with a strong foundation for success. The National Energy Center of Excellence offers 12 industry-recognized degree and certificate programs geared towards preparing the next generation of energy employees, along with training for existing workers. Courses are available online and on campus and are an excellent investment for those looking to enter the energy industry, or seeking ways to advance their career.

The NECE has been designated by the US Department of Energy as the National Power Plant Operations Technology and Education Center, recognizing BSC as the premier national center of education and training for operators and technicians in the energy industry.
