Thank you to all who participated in the stuffed animal drive for the Special Olympics. The elementary school students enjoyed having a teddy bear picnic with the animals at lunch time. On Friday our 5th and 6th grade student council members will bring the animals to Mt. Pleasant to use as prizes for games.

Parents have been sharing why they love CCA, and teachers wanted to weigh in, too. We've condensed the list to a Top Ten. Here's Reason #1! "What really sets Crossroads apart? Smaller classes! I can give each student the individual attention that he or she needs. We can form stronger connections, devote more time to each child, and really hone in on cultivating their growth. If my kids were still going to school, choosing Crossroads would be an easy decision; I want what's best for my children, and I understand what a difference individual attention can make."

Dan Wanink, FSU drafting and tool design professor joined some of our Kindergarten and 2nd grade classrooms this morning with a pancake robot. The students learned all about the robot and how it works before tasting some yummy pancakes.
