facebook.comWell, my two year contract with the golf course has run out. However, I just signed a new three-year contract to manage the John C. Beasley Golf Course. I want to thank all the patrons who has come out and golfed at our course the last two years. We have had so many new golfers come out and play. My staff has created a very family-friendly atmosphere at the course and I'm very proud of all of them. The maintenance crew and my staff try our best to make it a very pleasant golfing experience for everyone. Do we have a perfect golf course? Absolutely not! But we strive to make it the best we can with what we have. I would like to thank all of our regular golfers and all our new golfers for coming out and enjoying golf. Business is great out at John C. Beasley Golf Course. I would also like to thank our city manager and city Council for all their help with making this a success. We have a lot of ideas to bring to the course over the next three years, so come out and enjoy your golf course – The John C. Beasley Municipal Golf Course. -John Johnson
Everybody at John C. Beasley Golf Course would like to wish all of you a very happy new year and hope all your wishes and dreams come true in 2017. We would also like to thank all of our patrons for a great 2016, it was a very good year out at the course, and we thank you all. I would like to remind all golfers that the golf course closes approximately 30 minutes before sunset each day. We expect all golfers and carts at the clubhouse at the posted closing time. This does not mean sitting in your cart past closing time. Our employees must get all carts put up and the golf course closed in a reasonable amount of time. Closing time will be 5:30 starting this Sunday, January 8th. Thank you very much. See you on the course!

With all the recent rain and inadequate drainage, John C. Beasley golf course is not playable and closed. It is our goal and responsibility to maintain a playable golf course. We know this is an inconvenience but with all the flooding in Texas counties, let's keep all the people whose lives and property were devastated in our thoughts and prayers.
The golf course will be open tomorrow, May 25th. The crew has worked very hard to get it playable. It may not be in perfect shape now but rest assured they will work to get it that way! Thanks Cody Johnson, Jeff Engleman , Randy Maupin, Rodrigo Diaz, Gus Valdez, Ruth and Ken T., and Belinda. Job well done!
The course is being repaired. It is however still unplayable. We plan to open Wednesday morning for play. We appreciate your patience while we get the course in shape and playable. Thank you.
