Andrew King presents 'On a Yellow Leaf'
What a way to kick off Movies and Music on the Lawn’s 20th anniversary season, presented by Pop Shop Records! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special night. And we can’t say enough about Neon Mountain and their original score for “The Phantom of the Opera.” Here’s just a few examples of why you don’t want to miss Movies & Music’s next screening on June 30, when Buster Keaton and Antler Chandelier come to City Park... The sun is out, the screen is going up! We’re outside tonight, Baton Rouge. The radar looks clear so come on out!
Dear all: We are still planning to have tonight’s event outside on the lawn. We’re watching the radar closely and, if we have to change plans, you’ll hear it here first. But the radar currently says we’re in the clear after (if not before) 6pm. Be advised that the ground will be wet if we hold the event outside, so Lawn/tailgating chairs are recommended. Looking forward to seeing you tonight!
Tomorrow!
Artist and designer Brad Jensen: “I had a good time working on this poster for BRG’s Movies and Music on the Lawn event that will be happening this Friday with special guests, Neon Mountain, setting the soundtrack for the evening. Should be a good hot and muggy time! Tell a friend!” Get this (and the four other posters we’ll reveal Friday night) at Movies & Music’s 20th season kickoff Friday night!
This is gonna be special... Thanks to our friends in Neon Mountain for giving us all a little taste of Friday night when we kick off Movies & Music on the Lawn, presented by Pop Shop Records! (Click the image to play the video) Details at batonrougegallery.org/movies-Music-on-the-Lawn/.
As we get ready for Friday's kickoff of Movies & Music on the Lawn, we're beyond excited to announce the series' new presenting sponsor, Pop Shop Records!
