The Kenduskeag Stream Trail starts in Downtown Bangor and continues 2 miles north along the rocky banks of the stream.  The Kenduskeag Stream Trail is a scenic walking path stretching 2 miles out from the heart of Downtown Bangor. The trail follows the rocky banks of the stream past gorgeous views and historic sites. It's a quiet, natural oasis in one of Maine's largest cities.

The trail is maintained by the City of Bangor Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of the Lower Kenduskeag Stream (FOLKS). This page is operated by FOLKS and not officially affiliated with the City of Bangor.

Headed to Downtown Bangor on this lovely Saturday? An easy 10 minute stroll from downtown on the Kenduskeag Stream Trail brings you to some fairly wild reaches of the stream. The sun is out, the grass is green, tulips are up and the forsythia is exploding! Time for a hike!

Yesterday FOLKS had their first work day! We are so thankful to Bangor Greendrinks for their generous grant. We have added three new benches and three new trash cans along the trail.
