Has the golfer in your family been naughty or nice? Either way they deserve a great gift and there is none better than a gift card to Bangor Municipal Golf Course! Gift cards can be used for green fees, golf car rentals, 10 play discount cards, and even toward membership. While the clubhouse may be closed for the winter, you can still purchase gift cards at the Bangor Parks and Recreation Office located at 647 Main Street. Unfortunately the time is near. The golf course will be closing for the season on Sunday, November 12. We have had a great fall for playing and all of us at the club appreciate your support. The recent storm damamge put what is left of our crew quite a bit behind so they need a few days of decent weather to get the course properly prepared to endure the winter. The weather doesn't look that great for the weekend, but we will be here never the less.

Kids Fishing Day 2017

Since the BGA Club Championship is approaching, we thought we would share a photo with you. This is Tom Caron and his daughter Abbie holding the Club Championship Plaque. Tom is a 9 time Club Champion at Bangor Muni and this summer his daughter took her first job working the range and pro shop at the golf course. Can't beat that for cool can you. #munimemories

This was our first year with PGA Sports Academy and PGA Junior League and we could not have had more fun with the kids! Here are some pictures from a few of our Junior League matches. We even had a visit from some nice young players from Kebo Valley Club on our last match day. Be on the look out for start dates and times next year. You won't want your junior golfer to miss out on the fun!

It does not look good for Wine and Nine today. The weather forcast is calling for showers/rain for the early evening so we will resume next Monday. Lets hope for better weather!

The First Round of the Greater Bangor Open is underway! You can view the scores as they come in at www.greaterbangoropen.org. If anyone is interested in being part of the action, we could use some additional ball spotters on the 15th hole.

Just a reminder that due to preparation for the Greater Bangor Open this week, we will not have Wine & Nine tonight. The good news is the fun will resume on the 24th!

Junior Golf Parents....just a reminder that due to the Greater Bangor Open, we will not have our PGA Sports Academy or PGA Junior League Sessions as normally scheduled this week. Instead, we have a special GBO clinic with our Touring Pros on Wednesday, July 19th at 4:30. All of our Junior Golf Participants are welcome to come together at that time. Thanks and see you all then!

Due to the weather, PGA Junior League practice will be postponed for today. A specific make up day will be scheduled as soon as possible. If the weather stops in the early afternoon as anticipated, we will have Little Putters at 3:00 as scheduled.
