A late post on this National Day of Prayer. I have been praying for survivors of the terrible floods in Missouri and for the repose of the soul of 5 lost to the disaster. Lord, have mercy.

We are praying for all affected by the terrible flooding. Please join us in prayer for the survivors and those who mourn the loss of loved ones who have died. Also- if you decide to help, please help in helpful ways. If you volunteer go only as a properly deployed team. If you wish to donate, donate money or goods which have been specifically requested. The wave of un-requested goods and volunteers can quickly overwhelm a community post disaster and quickly becomes a disaster within a disaster.
