Order your yearbook TODAY! Order forms for the 2016-2017 St. Michael School yearbook will be going home with students today. The cost of the yearbook is $25. There will be a limited quantity of yearbooks printed so be sure to return the completed order form along with proper payment to the school office by the deadline of May 31st. Thank you!

Today's baseball and softball games have been postponed due to rain. We will try to make up the baseball game on May 17. Softball game make up yet to be determined.

2nd Annual St. Michael School & Travis Mills Foundation Walkathon

The second annual St. Michael School & Travis Mills Walk-A-Thon took place today! The St. Michael School community came together to raise funds to support the Travis Mills Foundation. Students gathered pledges for weeks prior to the walk and today, their laps around the school and church property were counted by a number of volunteers. Students, staff, parents, school families and friends all worked together as a community to raise money for the Travis Mills Foundation, and in a fun and healthy way! Working as a team can mean great things! Students in grades Pre-K & K walked 10 laps equaling 4 miles, students in grades 1 & 2 walked 15 laps equaling 6 miles, students in grades 3 & 4 walked 20 laps equaling 8 miles, and students in grades 5 thru 8 walked 25 laps equaling 10 miles. Students had the entire day to complete their walk but their determination and with enthusiasm and cheers from Travis Mills himself, students had finished by lunch. “We all need inspiration, hope, and motivation and the students of this school supply me that” said Mills. “That’s the best part about being Travis Mills…having people behind me, supporting me every step of the way” Travis explained in a greeting to the school community before the walk began. After the walk, a barbecue lunch was provided to all in attendance. Our school community got to participate and learn the true meaning of giving back to the community. The funds raised from today’s Walk-A-Thon will help sponsor wounded veterans and their families rehad at The Travis Mills Foundation.

MAKE UP GAME SCHEDULE TUESDAY, May 2- Baseball and softball at Windsor, 3:30 pm (make up from May 1st) FRIDAY, May 5- Baseball and softball at China, 3:30 pm (make up from April 27th) TUESDAY, May 16- Baseball will now play at Chelsea at 3:30 pm. We will play two 5 inning games. (One of these games is a make up from April 28th) Softball will still host Chelsea as scheduled at 4:00 pm THURSDAY, May 18- Softball at Chelsea at 3:30 pm (make up from April 28th) Baseball will host Windsor as scheduled at 4:00 pm

TODAY'S baseball and softball games have been postponed. There will be a softball practice in the school gym from 4:00-5:30 pm. There is no baseball practice.

Today, Monday, May 1st, is the first day that boys are allowed to wear shorts.

Don't forget to turn in your decorated signs and your student's Walk-A-Thon pledge sheet tomorrow. Do not turn in any money yet though. Thank you!
