Abraham and Sons, Inc. was founded in 1927 by the late Sleyman Abraham as a family owned business. The Abraham family lived in the apartment above the store allowing Sleyman Abraham to have a higher level of awareness and commitment that would assure SAS's success. SAS is still a family owned business today. Sleyman Abraham passed the business on to his three sons, Abe, Jim, and Wade, hence the "Sons" in the company name. The original three sons have passed the company on to their sons. Alan Abraham is the President of SAS and Jerry Abraham is Senior Executive Vice President.

The 2017 SAS Trade Show was a BIG success! Since it is our 90th anniversary, we took it back to when it all began with a 1920’s Great Gatsby theme. Employees and attendees alike dressed to the nines in 20’s attire! We would like to thank our customers, vendors, employees, and everyone else who played a part in making this year’s trade show happen.

On Thursday, December 1 at 5:00pm, the Walker Ice and Fitness Center will be hosting an evening of fun called the Walker Winter Fest! There will be ice skating (free of charge), reindeer, hot chocolate, kids' crafts, and plenty of Christmas wreaths decorated by local businesses. Check out the wreath that SAS put together and donated for the event! We'll see you there!

Thank you to all of our employees who attended this year's West Michigan Whitecaps event! Before the first pitch, employees and their families enjoyed a buffet of burgers, brats, and hot dogs. The game ended in a tie after 6 hours and 15 innings of play, which made it the longest game in Whitecaps history!
