Final Exams week has arrived, which means it's crunch time. It also means that a well-deserved break is just around the corner! Follow these five tips to ace your exams so you can start celebrating summer break. 1. Time Management: Make sure you allow enough time to study the material (no last-minute cram sessions!). 2. Unplug and Focus: As difficult as it might be, put your smartphone away to avoid temptation. Texts, calls, and notifications can be distracting and waste time (see number 1). 3. Find Your Zone: The perfect study environment can really make a difference in how well you absorb the material. Whether it's a quiet reading room or a busy coffee shop, find what works for you. 4. Rest: Be sure you get plenty of sleep leading up to the exam. Being well-rested is important in doing your best and focusing your attention to the class material. 5. Ask: If you have any questions, reach out to your instructor, or find a study partner from the class so you can quiz each other and share knowledge. Sometimes having a study partner can also help hold you accountable for staying on task. Good luck, and happy studying!
