Arkalalah is a fall festival that began in 1928 and is held annually during the last full weekend in October in Ark City, KS. A festival held annually to celebrate the fall.

There are several committees that are responsible for festival happenings before, during, and after Arkalalah, not to mention the many volunteers that are "behind the scenes". Their tireless efforts make sure that each year's festival is a memorable one for all. As we look back and reflect on the past week preparing for and celebrating Arkalalah.. there are soo many people to thank. First off to all the sponsors and business that support Arkalalah.. thank you! We couldn't do this without you! We would also like to thank all the vendors, carnival and all the people that participated in the parades! A HUGE HUGE thank you goes to the City of Ark City!! You are always there to help in ANY way possible!! You definitely make our job much easier. To all the committee members that also help put Arkalalah together.. thank you!!! We all work so good together! Last but certainly not least to the executive committee.. thank you for your time, knowledge and wisdom! It is a pleasure to work with such great people and put together a festival that approximately 36,000 people attended! Thank you again to the community of Ark City!!!!
