We tame wild yeasts and use local seasonal ingredients to handcraft small batch beers & ciders that reflect our region. The parts are less than the whole, but when brought together a unique craft beer is born. The beer tells us when it's ready, Are you? Carolina Bauernhaus Ales™ is a farmhouse brewery in Anderson, SC. Our hand crafted ales pay homage to the rich agricultural resources of Upstate South Carolina by using locally sourced malt, grains, yeast, and hops. While our brewing techniques may be Belgian inspired, our beers are by no means reverent to tradition. From Carolina Bauernhaus’ taproom and pilot system in downtown Anderson SC to our production brewery on a working farm just outside of Anderson, we will strive to create a family of unique beers that range from approachable saisons to challenging barrel aged sour beers.
