Chartered in 1946 and is now planning to expand the post building proportionate to the beautiful site at 300 Broadway, Amityville, NY. PLEASE SUPPORT THEIR EFFORT TO ATTRACT SEASONED AND NEW VETERANS.

In 2016 the John J. Kreyer VFW Post of Amityville will be celebrating 70 years of continuous service to our country and community. A proud accomplishment. Thanks to the vision of returning WWII veterans we of the VFW Post 7223 enjoy and are proud to carry on the tradition that our founders gave to us. Now that our Charter members are no longer with us, we have an obligation to continue what they started and to build on this legacy. KEEP AMERICA SAFE AND STRONG.
