Surge for Sucess 2018...Surge Metro won thier 4th game in the last 6 beating The Icebergs 3-1 Thursday night. It was the Ryan Macintosh and Craig Sigivithch show combining for 6 points. Meanwhile the Surge South train kept a Rollin with another dismantling of the Rangers 10-1. Rich Ohlund and Bob Phillips each netted hat tricks while Dave Bermingham, Mike Rizzitano, Joe Ficociello and Fran Rizzitano combined for 8 more points. Only 45 more days until the annual Surge VS Surge Tournament.

1st place continues to look good on Surge South !! With 5 games to go before the playoffs, defending champions widen lead. Richie Ohlund and Mike Rizzitano remain atop the pts and Pim standings. Gregg Jenner Surge recorded thier 4th shutout of the season beating 2nd place South Knights 3-0. Surge VS Surge April 14th, a 4 team 3 game tournament!!!

Surge Metro beat Sea bass 5-3 while Ryan MacIntosh inches past Mike Rizzitano and takes the team lead in points and penalty minutes. Surge climbs a spot in the division standings with only a handful of games remaining before the annual Surge VS Surge game April 14th.

This picture partially explains why I was unable to clear the puck after blocking the shot late in the game versus Moose Knuckles. They scored the game winning goal on the rebound. Also was a factor in the loss the next day to East Coast Bulldogs as we played with a depleted defensive corps.

Surge teams have a week to forget.... Surge South fell to Brain Caradona and Mooseknuckles 6-4, while Surge Metro also fell 4-1 in a contested game ruled by the referees. Both teams hope to rebound this week when South plays Boston Barber Tuesday in Rockland while Metro takes on rival Sin Bin Thursday night.

Surge Metro powers by Chuckleheads 5-1 enroute to their 2nd win in a row. Jay Mobilia and Ryan MacIntosh supplied the offense while the Surge defense seems to be gaining confidence with their strong performance.
