About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to start building BBQ pits and created a side business selling my designs and pits nationwide.  I took this knowledge of different styles of pits and by trial and error I came up with what I believe to be the best way to smoke meat.  To this day, I've never purchased a smoker, every pit I've owned has been designed and custom built by me. During this process, about 15 years ago, I started entering BBQ cook offs, where I have received many awards not only for my pits but for my food. This just made me excited to share my knowledge of pits & BBQ with friends & family.  After several award winning cook offs and events, I decided I wanted everyone else to taste what I consider to be true Texas BBQ!  This includes the right wood paired with the right meat, the right spices, & a handmade BBQ pit that can bring it all together. Through years of experience I have come up with what I feel is the best homemade rubs, sauces, jelly's, smoked meats and sides. What started 20 years ago as a hobby, or a way to support my belly, has now become a passion that I'm looking forward to sharing with you.
