Traditional pub which oozes charm and warmth. Good honest home cooked food served daily. Jim, Helen and the team welcome you to The White Hart. We offer a wide selection of good, honest home cooked dishes sourced locally as much as possible. Jim and Helen have been running The White Hart for 14 years, the pub has been cherished and in these days of minimalistic, we have managed to keep to the traditional, warm and welcoming pub that isn't so common any longer.
A large selection of real ales, fine wines and super selection of soft drinks are available. The menu is updated regularly and there is a large specials board which changes daily, offering tempting dishes such as Kangaroo, Venison, Ostrich, fresh fish from the market and lovely sauces to compliment.
A lunchtime specials board offers smaller plates and more traditional tastes such as homemade pies, Lam chops and trio of sausages to name just a few. The full table menu is extensive, excellent steaks, butchered in house by Jim and homemade fish and chicken dishes too. Children are well catered for with their own menu and we offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes.
Our Carvery, which is served on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime, Wednesday evening and ALL DAY on Sunday is delicious, and offers a large selection of fresh vegetables.
Food is served Monday to Saturday 12pm until 2pm and 6pm until 9pm (9.30pm Fri and Sat) and ALL DAY ON SUNDAY.
We are a pub at heart and therefore welcome drinkers to sit over a decent pint.
We cater for all functions and our buffets have an excellent reputation for their professional look and generous quantity.
We accept coaches with a prior booking. We offer breakfast meetings and serve breakfast Tuesday to saturday from 10am.
