Moreton School will be hosting a 6th Form Promotional event for students and parents of Moreton and Aldersley students. Doors will open at 3pm, there will be some short speeches in the theatre with a careers event following in the sports hall.

School will be open as normal tomorrow. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear, coats, hats etc to travel to school and bring your school shoes to change into on arrival. Free toast and hot chocolate will be available in Diner 1 between 8am-8.30am so give yourself plenty of time to make the journey! We are looking forward to seeing you all. Due to the weather conditions school will be closed tomorrow to ensure the safety of pupils and staff. Conditions on site and on the roads are poor and expected to worsen overnight. Stay safe and warm.

We intend to remain open tomorrow but will be making a further assessment of the school site and staffing numbers (many of our staff travel large distances to work) early tomorrow morning. A decision regarding the opening of the school will be made by 6am at the latest to allow for parents to make alternative arrangements if needed, taking into account any further weather warnings and travel advice.
