The wedding of Katie & Calum Childe

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katie & Calum Childe at Guildford Registry office and then after at the Holiday Inn Guildford.Katie and her bridesmaids looked stunning wearing 1950's style dresses. The details were superb with Katie having made the bridesmaids and her own bouquet. The Groom & groomsmen all had hand tied buttonholes which included different coloured chillies as the main theme (in line with Calum’s job as a chef).Katie arrived at the registry office in a fantastic old Cadillac. Following the ceremony there was unfortunately no time to take photographs apart from a “Confetti run” as it was raining pretty heavily. Not perturbed by the weather both Katie & Calum were keen to take a drive to Guildford Cathedral where we took a few photographs. Once again the weather got the better of us so we retired to the comfort of the Holiday Inn. After some Champagne and cocktails the wedding breakfast was served and in keeping with the theme of American 1950’s a traditional American breakfast was served including hash browns!After the evening guests arrived Katie & Calum cut the cake and then took to the floor for their first dance and then the party started.I would like to thank both Katie and Calum for asking me to record their very special day. #surreyweddingphotographer #grahammansfieldphotography #holidayinnguildford #retroweddings #1950weddings

Sinead and Paul Costello's wedding at Shepperton Film Studios

Exactly one year later we returned to Littleton House, Shepperton Film Studio's for the wedding of Sinead & Paul Costello.This venue is always a great place for a wedding in that it is still an active film studio. One year ago they were filming Alice in Wonderland and we happened to see Helena Bonham Carter.Sadly, this time we weren’t so lucky as they had just finished filming The Mummy with Tom Cruise! Still it was a fantastic wedding and Sinead's dress was stunning. Her veil was lovely and long but it did present a slight problem as it was fairly windy and as you can see by one of the images the "Veil really Flew". We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and although it did rain we were still able to get all of the outside photographs done in the dry. Jayne and Jack Smith

Yesterday we were delighted to photograph the wedding of Jayne & Jack Smith. The day started at Jayne's parents house in Walton on Thames were the girls were getting ready. The wedding service took place at the United Reform Church in Kingston. Jayne & her Dad arrived at the church in a beautiful VW Campavan. After a lovely service everyone had Champagne & nibbles in the hall and at 3:45 Jayne & Jack boarded their VW Campavan and headed off to The Talbot Inn in Ripley. The rest of the guests boarded a fantastically restored Double Decker Red Bus along with a Single Decker Green Line also beautifully restored. Once at The Talbot Pims was served in the garden before heading into the wedding breakfast. The weather for the day couldn't have been better with wall to wall sunshine. We would like to thank Jayne & Jack for asking us to photograph their lovely day.

Sophie & Chris Revell

Friday 30th we had the pleaseure to photograph the wedding of Sophie & Chris Revell. Sophie looked stunning in here elegent wedding dress as did her 5 bridemaids. The ceremony took place at the Churh of Holy Rood in Holybourne and then afterwards at Old Thorns Manor Hotel. The weather stayed fair which gave us the opportunity of heading off in a golf buggy for some great shots out on the golf course. The view from the 5th hole is truely spectacular with beautiful views for miles. Nicola & Dominic Family Pre Wedding Shoot

Today Nicola, Dominic and their lovely two children came to the studio to have their Pre wedding shoot. The weather was lovely so we took the opportunity of shooting outside.The children were extremely well behaved and we had a great time.
