After an email was sent to all parish councillors from the head of planning at fenland District Council. It was explained that applications must be supported, due to the lack of the 5 year land supply. However any applications that are not in favour with the planning officer will not be approved at committee. The committee members currently only side with the planning officers, fact! My views at the moment: parishes shouldn’t waste their time looking at applications and agents shouldn’t waste their time attempting to gain community and parish support. What is the point of even having a planning committee. #whenisthenextelection #timeforchange
