A match between Shiplate Farm and Clevedon AC on the Main Lake saw Shiplate Farm anglers almost double the weight of the away team. It was only a friendly match but a lot of banter made a fun day of it. Ritchie Hawkins fished paste on the pole at 13m, on the deck and in the margins to take the winning bag. Yesterday's Costcutter Match was very busy at the weigh-in. Lots of good bags of Carp and several heavy bags of Silvers. Over a third of the anglers weighed in over 20lbs of Silvers each. An Open Match on the Main Lake produced another winning bag over 100lbs for Russ Peck. On peg 4, Russ weighed in 101lb 13oz. Russ worked hard to gain the advantage fish over Steve Howell who followed a close second place with 92lb 1oz on peg 14. Andy France came a close third place with 71lb 13oz on peg 13a. Silvers went to newcomer Alvin Jones, 27lb 12oz ,peg 2 and Ron Stark 17lb 8oz, on peg 13.
