It is in an unrivalled position in the promenade, just a few minutes stroll to the town centre where guests can enjoy the numerous shops, theatres and attraction. The floral beauty of Grove Park and Prince Consort Gardens are also a short walk from the hotel.
At The New Ocean Hotel we can accommodate approximately 90 guests in a selection of single, double, twin or family rooms, all prepared to a high standard offering full en-suite facilities, direct-dial telephones, digital flat screen televisions, hair-dryers and hospitality tray. For your comfort the hotel also has two passenger lifts with many rooms offering level access from these lifts.
We have a large dance floor and provide a nightly entertainment programme in our comfortable bar/lounge with a fully stocked and licenced bar open throughout the day and late into the evening. The Ocean Restaurant prides itself on its freshly prepared extensive menu which combines the best of both traditional and modern cooking.
Visiting The New Ocean Hotel enables you to explore the natural and man-made wonders of the Mendips, with its famous caves and Cheddar Gorge, the enchanting village of Wookey Hole, the tiny City of Wells and its magnificent Cathedral, Bath with its ancient Roman Baths, Georgian architecture and antique shops and Glastonbury with its haunting ruins steeped in historical legend and fantasy.
