New Women's Institute group for 1940s Re-enactors. We make Jam and sing Jerusalem! New Women's Institute group for 1940s Re-enactors. Based on traditional activities of WI groups in the wartime era.
We make Jam, we sing Jerusalem, we bake cakes and we make no apologies for it.
We wear authentic 1940s clothes, we have victory rolls in our hair and we wouldn't leave the house without our lippy and seamed stockings.

Our girls kept the forces topped up with free cake this weekend at Ironbridge Gorge 40s weekend. The area may have been on a high terror alert but in true wartime fashion it didn't dampen anyone's spirits.
