The Weir Hotel ,Thameside and Sunbury Village residents are taking Elmbridge Borough Council to the High Court in London on December 6th. The Council have given themselves permission to build a Giant Stadium on the River Thames in a peaceful location. We have fought tooth and nail for over 4 years...now all their dirty tricks have come home to roost! The Council are so worried about losing this Judicial Review that they have actually applied Today for another Full Planning Application on the same site! I wonder what the Royal Courts of Justice will think of that on December 6th. The Weir feels like a bit of throwback Thursday before the weather turns! Come reminisce down the river!

Whose in the mood for a lovely Sunday roast down by the river? We will be serving from 12:30-4! Come down early and enjoy our homemade roast potatoes!!! If the roast isn't your thing then our usual bar menu will be on from 4-7:30!! It'll be lovely to see you all! 🍽🍻

If you're looking for a meal or drink this evening by the river hurry down to The Weir!! Kitchen will be open for another hour while the bar will be open until 11!!!
