Lively cafe bar in the centre of Ullapool offering a range of excellent hot drinks, baking, beers, wines and cocktails with an extensive, locally sourced bistro menu. Situated on the shore front of Ullapool, Ross-shire, The Frigate benefits from wonderful sea views as well as being right in the centre of the village.
We believe in locally sourced produce and this is reflected in our wide menu which includes everything from freshly cooked pizzas, fish and burgers to home made cakes and pies.
Whether you're one for gazing down the loch with a glass of wine, watching live Sky Sports on the big screen with an ice cold pint, or even a game of pool, The Frigate is the place to be.

Bistro Manager@The Frigate Ullapool We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our team Experience in a similar position essential. Personal licence advantageous. Communications in fluent English essential. Knowledge of the highlands advantageous. We are situated right on the shore in Ullapool and run a vibrant coffee shop and bistro, you will be required to front our bistro operation 6 days a week for the season. You will be self-motivated, honest, people friendly, engaging and have a love of life! Every one of our customers is valued, you must embrace them, indulge them and give them a positive experience. For this opportunity, we are offering a salary of £500 per week with free basic accommodation if required. This will give you the chance to save up for your next journey. If you think this is you and you can totally commit to the whole season, please reply with your CV, a minimum of 2, up to date references and a covering letter detailing why you are the person!
