Angry Viking Forge
Description
Dear All,
I have been blacksmithing now for around five years after building my own forge. I am a bladesmith and swordsmith. I am interested in Damascus steel (the patterns you can see in my blades) which is made by welding and folding different steels to form an infinite number of layers. There are an infinite number of different patterns which can be created in damascus steel and there are hundreds I haven't tried yet! These include straight, twisted (star pattern), random, ladder, snowflake, flame and hundreds more. I will be constantly adding photos of new patterns I have made.
I make the handles out of exotic hardwoods. I have African Leadwood, Teak, Purple Heartwood, Zebra wood, Beech, Spalted Beech and many more, all polished and weatherproofed. I am beginning to wire and leather wrap my handles, more to come!
My sheathes are made and sewn by hand from Skipton leather and are durable, waterproof and smell amazing! I can also pattern these and trim with copper detail .
My Knives are razor sharp and due to the high layer steel, are extremely durable and flexible.
Thank you for visiting!

For all you weirdos who like this page, I am eternally grateful but have no idea what possessed you to do so. I have some dire news. The forge burnt down to the ground last week. I lost everything and we went down yesterday to salvage what we could. I took a timelapse video so the misery could be condensed into 3 minutes! So, it's time to rebuild and buy fancy shiny new machines. Enjoy.
Just finished this fireside splitting axe! This was my first attempt at alphabetical stamping :D
The BriarHawk, a tomahawk I've just finished with a hot punched and drifted eye and skull breaker pyramid poll.
So, a productive week, not enough photos or videos of the forging (mainly due to the numerous underwear changes required due to the stress of welding these together) but some badassery at the end.

It appears I haven't posted for an age, mainly due to building this new forge! This weekend has seen the forgening of 1" bolt tongs, 1" flat bit tongs, a 200 layer recurve bowie knife, a hot cut chisel and a hole punch.
