I have tried to hold our costs for as long as possible, but some of the material we can supply has gone up in price and so I have had to raise some prices I am afraid. You will note I say some - there are still some of the fabrics at the same price! You can see all of these by clicking the link below. But rest assured our prices are still way below the RRP. Mindful that these days not everyone can afford the very top notch fabric, I have also sourced some new material from Foster Lane. 2 ranges called Oxford and Nice, which both come in a range of colours. I think these are a great alternative which is more affordable, and to be honest, more colourful too. The Unpaid PA will be putting these on the website just as soon as I can get him to stop looking for football results... We'll let you know here, so watch this space.

I do love getting photos of completed work. My client has a stunning house and these blinds and dress curtains, bed runner and cushions just make her bedroom look fabulous.

My favourite make of the week. The blind is 2.4m wide, so it's a big one but we've turned the fabric horizontally so there are no joins. I've not made a lightshade for a while....forgotten how much I enjoy making them!

Over the years of having my website I have had a news page, where I talk about local matters and things I am working on, maybe some fabric news, and so on. However, my website is built with Moonfruit software, and whilst I think it is great for my website, the one thing it falls down on, in my opinion, is it's blogging capabilities. And so I have taken the decision to transfer my news to Wordpress, which is far more suited. It will also encourage me to post more - it has certainly dropped off after a good start as I just didn't enjoy the experience on Moonfruit. I have transferred the old posts over. Don't get me wrong, my main site is still on Moonfruit, and I have even added a link button in case you too want your own website. (When I said I, of course i mean the Unpaid PA...)

When you have 2 windows in your bedroom, why not use different fabrics and dressings. Starry curtains and a stripy blind are going to make for a very snazzy boys bedroom 🌟

It's not every day I get to go and measure up at a castle. Although my son merrily told me "actually Mum, it's a big house with crenellations". A lovely way to spend my morning, whatever it is!
