Craftworks Street Kitchen

Burgers- Burritos- Tacos- Salads- Beers
Street Food delivered from our unique Shipping Container Restaurant.
Industrial Urban Dining in the heart of the City of Cornwall
Craftworks Kitchen humbly began its journey after their purchase of a shiny, 1966 American Airstream trailer back in
2014.
Starting with pop-up events, they made a presence at events such as Boardmasters, the Masked Ball and Polo on the beach at Watergate bay, alongside many weddings, to make for an incredibly busy first year.
Next, Craftworks Street Kitchen opened in July 2015 on Lemon Quay in Truro, when the company overtook the former HUBBOX site. After six weeks of refurbishing the shipping container and splashing it with the stand- alone Craftworks branding, the company began delivering global street food to the taste buds of Truro – inspired by their travels and vast background in the restaurant industry – and have been wowing locals ever since.
The Kitchen team is small but well
oiled, with a vast, combined number of years experience in the industry. Their popularity is ever growing, which is testament to the productive partnership between owner and Head Chef Daniel Brightman and his business partner Mick Warren. The pair have worked together on
successful projects in the past, including the opening of a restaurant in the Alps which is still going strong!
The outside space at the Street Kitchen
is fantastic, with tables in the sunshine overlooking the cathedral and able to seat more than 40. They source their produce from local suppliers, such as Baker Toms and Roche Butchers, which Daniel believes is key to their success. The kitchen has a passion for craft beers, using Cornish suppliers
like the Harbour brewing company and Firebrand, as well as some further afield, in order to satisfy customers with the best- brewed beverages available.
More recently, the Kitchen has taken on Gio Villada, a chef whose background in the trade takes him all the way back to his hometown
in Colombia. Gio’s South American roots reflect in his food, fusing aromatic, sensational flavours and adding something special to the already broad spectrum of cuisine available at Craftworks Kitchen.
The Kitchen opens seven days a week, 11- 8pm and 11-4pm on Sundays and also offers a take away service.
