Dog Grooming & Dental Treatment Salon run by Jeanette  Ring, who has over 30 years grooming experience , so you know your pet will be in safe hands.   The Hound Lounge is a bespoke dog grooming studio and mobile service based in the city of Truro, run by Jeanette who has over 30 years grooming experience and grooms either to breed standard or a style to suit the lifestyle of the dog and owner. Our aim is always to groom to your requirements.

At The Hound Lounge we recognise that your dog is a very important part of your family and with that in mind every dog we see is treated with the same amount of love and attention we give to our Boys, Mr Darcy & Cptn Hugo…. Two Standard Poodles, who are currently enjoying a spot of Agility training!

Prices vary depending upon breed and condition of your dog’s coat. Please bear in mind that if a dogs coat is excessively matted there may be an extra charge. For an approximate cost please see the list below.

The Full Groom:
•   Bathing and Blow Drying
•   Breed Standard & Pet trimming
•   Ear Plucking & Cleaning
       o   Small Dogs:   £20  (approx.)
       o   Medium Dogs:   £25  (Approx.)
       o   Large Dogs:   £35 (Approx.)

De-Matting and Hand Stripping:
       o   £20 per hour.

Nail Clipping and Filing:
       o   All dog sizes: £5

Shampoo, Coat Condition and Blow Dry:
•   Thorough coat cleansing
•   Body Massage with Aromatherapy Coat Conditioner
•   Blow dry and brush out.
       o   Depending on dog size and
                condition of coat: £15 - £35

We also offer a FREE Puppy Shampoo, condition and Blow Dry  for pups between 4 and 6 months a good idea to get them used to being groomed at an early age.

We recommend that your pet is groomed every 6-12 weeks to keep their coat and skin healthy.
