Sands ofLuce Big Air Weekend - Sat 5th November So after the success of our weekend at Sands of Luce Holiday Park in May we are going to have a winter bash. We are looking to see who can go the biggest on their kite and windsurfing gear. We will have Woo's for the kiters and the MK1-i-ball for the windsurfers ;-) We are hoping the wind plays ball; however even if it blows remember the location means that sheltered bays can be found for the SUP guys. We will have kite and SUP demo gear from Ktwo Distribution and Skymonster Kitesurfing & SUP Watersports The awesome Lighthouse Bar will be serving up breakfast, dinner, coffee's and other libations so we hope you will join us all again for good times on and off the water.

Anyone up for winter weekend at Sands of Luce Holiday Park soon for some fun on and off the water?
Wow! What an awesome weekend the Sands of Luce Surf Weekender was. Firstly huge thanks to Sands of Luce Holiday Park and Jack and Amy for hosting it. The Park's camping and rental facilities are excellent and the refurbished Lighthouse Bar is simply top notch - from the delicious breakfasts to the thin and crispy pizza at the banquet you had us extremely well fed and watered. It was also a great venue to hear the simply amazing Jamie Robert Ross - what unbelievable guitar skills. We would love to have you back next time, but in the nicest possible way I hope we can't afford too because you deserve a wider audience and recognition. Next up are the guys who gave up their time for free with Chris from Adventure Carrick putting on the SUP tasters. Mark from TryKiteSurfing.com for the power kite taster sessions. Then Mike from Ktwo Distribution for the Airush Kiteboarding and Shinnworld demo kit ensuring we got on the water with some big kit on the Saturday. It actually picked up enough on Sunday that we we should have put those WOO Sports UK mounts the guys sent us to use, but even the wind strength surprised us... although we should have more faith as the Luce Bay area generally does deliver. Finally thanks to everyone who came along to make the event what it was - the vibe was brilliant and as we hinted above with 'next time' we hope you spread the word about this fun, family friendly event. With beaches that take any wind direction or providing shelter for SUP action and some epic mountain biking a short ride away there is a lot to do and explore - if you commit to it we will work hard to make it go from strength to strength. Thanks - the Crew :-)

Wouldn't have been a Windfest without the wind. For those that doubted Sands of Luce Holiday Park delivers again and we kited the beautiful Port Logan. Thanks to Ktwo Distribution for the awesome demo kit.
Port Logan for SUP and Kitesurf today
When we say briefing between 9 and 10 we mean closer to 10 as there was a bit of an after party for some at the Sands of Luce Holiday Park last night
