The Bowen Technique is a gentle yet effective form of remedial bodywork. It is a holistic treatment, that involves the therapist making a series of rolling movements, at precise points, over muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It is suitable for everybody from babies to the elderly and can be performed through light, loose clothing. There is no force or manipulation and it is not massage.
Complaints that can respond well to Bowen include;
