Heightside Records
Description
We sell vinyl records to anti-digital philistines (or normal people with turntables) as cheap as possible. Yes, we buy them as well. Trading on Lancaster and Todmorden markets, Saturdays and Sundays respectively. We have no fixed specialty, aiming to stock as wide a variety of music as possible, everything from pre-war dancehall to prog rock and, if times get really tough, Phil Collins.
Currently trading on the following days and in the following places:
Todmorden Market - Sundays
Lancaster Street Market (outside Bella Italia) - Saturdays from September - Mid June.

Last Lancaster Charter Market market today for a bit - back on July 27th, then August 24th - normal service again after that.
William Basinski - The Deluge [Full Album]
Occasionally the weather is worse on Lancaster Charter Market than it is in Todmorden - looks like it will be one of those weeks. Don't want to hear any excuses for coming without a bag either, everyone should be aware that record sleeves are made of cardboard by now
For anyone in Lancaster who isn’t at the festival we’re in the less glamorous surroundings of between Specsavers and McDonalds as usual
Kool & The Gang - Fresh (Official Music Video)
To the doubters yes we are back on Lancaster Charter Market every Saturday now, next break will be in July. Looking forward to a day of sun, rain, hail and wind apparently. Plenty of fresh stuff. I can't be bothered to lay lps out on the floor and photograph them - you have to get out of bed and walk to the stall. (Tod on Sunday as per always apart from that 1 day in 3 years we missed).
Panic In The World (2004 Remastered Version)
Lancaster Charter Market tomorrow, but SHOCK HORROR for the first time since Bowie was alive we are NOT at Todmorden market on Sunday. Back to normal on Sunday the 7th at Tod, and it'll be the last Lancaster date until the 20th April.
Scott Walker - 30 Century Man
Finally ideal vinyl selling conditions (hopefully) on Lancaster Charter Market this weekend (dry and grey). If you ever wondered whether it was more depressing listening to Wilfred Owen or Leonard Cohen you can find out tomorrow.
It turns out Cheapside isn’t ideal today for selling things made mainly of cardboard under a gazebo that can take off - hopefully better conditions next week!
Lancaster Charter Market
When Will You Find the Limit…
Unfortunately we're not going to be on Lancaster Charter Market due to psychological trauma suffered the last time there were 50mph winds on Cheapside. As a rule we're avoiding storms with names now. Records are pretty aerodynamic once they take off and the gazebo even more so... #fairweathertraders
No, we weren't on Lancaster Charter Market today - we're back on the 19th January. Todmorden as normal tomorrow....
