To all my customers... I am writing to inform you as from December 1st we shall no longer be running cottage kennels due to my continuing health issues of running a busy kennels, also for those who don't know we were leasing the kennels with the option of purchasing, but sadly the owners have decided they wish to return and there have been several other issues that we feel couldn't be rectified. I will very much miss all of you and seeing your lovely dogs who I have had pleasure of looking after, as most of you know I did home boarding before and if I'm honest much prefer, I have struggled with the whole kennel situation and have ended up so many times taking dogs indoors because I felt sorry for them! Obviously everyone needs to go on holidays and kennels do work for a lot of dogs but I think I'm just too soft! For those who wish to use the kennels here, it will be open as usual and it's best to contact Keith and Joanna direct on the same home phone number. I cannot take any more bookings on their behalf because my licence would not cover your dogs if I'm not here. For those who have used me before for home boarding, I will be still doing this for a limited number of 3 dogs max. They will be part of the family in a large country home with secure grounds of 15 acres. Prices will remain the same. I am just waiting to get my licence for home boarding so you will have to bear with me. I'm sure those who used to home board will be far happier as it will be much more home from home. As I said the kennels will be open as usual for those that prefer and back up for sale if anyone is interested, it's just not for me in the long term ad I do want to spend more time with family and my horses.
