It’s not always about the blonde......❤️ Vivid reds and plums are tough to keep in the hair...... to get the most longevity always use a professional sulphate free shampoo or for next level care a colour deposit shampoo & conditioner, such as Wella professionals colour recharge which contain red pigments to help fight the fade! Direct colour such as crazy colour pots or Maria Nila colour refresh can be used in between salon visits once a week to make sure the vibrancy stays 🔥🔥🔥 And finally wash as infrequently as you can- dry shampoo is your best friend 😄

Continuing my week of balayage....✨ * before & after * This lovely came in with a grown out balayage that had previous dark roots, now a dark band through the middle. She sat like a trooper for 4 1/2 hours so I could do a mix of fine babylights & balayage to lift through the band and brighten the existing blonde ends with Olaplex for hair health protection and toned with L'Oreal 10.13 for a soft ash result

* * * * * ✨ B E F O R E & A F T E R ✨ * * * * * This beauty came in for a soft golden balayage, a complete rarity to find a head of hair with no previous colour 🦄 We took 3 1/2 hours to completely freehand paint and foil and then tone for a seamless colour melt 💕

After months and months of bright blonde highlights and growing out an asymmetric cut it was time for a big change! A shorter sharper bob with a root shadow to blend in with natural colour regrowth as it grows out 💕

✨Hair transformations are sometimes just a tweak✨ We softened her roots down to give a more blended result allowing for lower maintenance as it will be a less obvious grow out! A colour like this will need some love and care to keep it looking beautiful in between visits but I think it looks 😍

All about the balayage this weekend!! From a grown out blonde we coloured using a dark rich red-brown with the old and new blonde balayage toned to a soft rose copper and a little #updo for a night out.
