Teignmouth Players
Description
The Teignmouth Players are an amateur dramatic society based at the Ice Factory theatre in Teignmouth. The society was formed over 40 years ago to promote live theatre for the enjoyment and benefit of all. After 30 years the Players now have a new 'Home' at the Ice Factory in Teignmouth. They will also be using other venues including the New Carlton pavilion when complete.
We have a very active junior section, the TYKES, who meet every week and present a major production each year.
Why not join us?!
There are many aspects to theatre life: acting, directing, lighting & sound, set design & construction, costume & props, stage management, front of house, box office, bar, publicity, stage crew. If you are interested in becoming involved, or simply want to meet people and join in our social activities, please get in touch!

HELP NEEDED WITH PANTO COSTUMES We are looking to revive the sewing groups we used to hold to make the costumes for the pantomime. This year we are doing The Princess and the Pea and need a wonderful array of fruit and veg themed costumes. If you can help by coming to a regular sewing session at the Ice Factory or are willing to take sewing home to do, I would love to hear from you. At the moment I am looking at a weekly morning or afternoon session at the Ice Factory, possibly on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. When you reply I would be grateful if you could indicate any times you cannot do due to prior commitments. There will be plenty of hand sewing to do and art work as we are planning on fruit and veg appliqué work on the costumes and some painting of designs to give the overall effect. Looking forward to hearing from you. Please contact Jane Athey at info@teignmouthplayers.com or by calling the box office between 10 and 12 any day except Sundays.

After a rather inconvenient crash of the Ice Factory's old lighting desk, we have finally been able to bring ourselves into the 21st century with a desk that should see the Teignmouth Players for quite some time. Certainly the Tech team are happy chappies!
