The Saturday Morning Run, well done Pete, Alex, Will and Lewis. Last week two this week four, (eight next week?) plus one parent (well done Andy). So......how about joining us? It really is as hard as you want to make it, you can even walk it. At the finish a cup of hot choccy with marshmallows (not compulsory!) Ask me or one of the coaches if you want some more details. Wow!! Our two winners for this week for the most improved mini boxer and the best overall boxer. They tried really hard to achieve these awards and they are well deserved. I lost the note I made with their names on and I have a memory like a sieve (so my wife whatsername keeps telling me), so I hope you will forgive me for not naming them!! I am constantly aware of the effort put in by the mini boxers, and yes, it isn't always boxing, but their fun and energy and sheer enjoyment are marvellous. Well done to them all.

Crazy people!! Or maybe just the ones who are going to be fit enough and not run out of energy in the third round! Alex and Will turned up for the run this morning, and although there was a little rain it wasn't enough to deter these two. Well done to both of them. Will you be there next week? Get fit and box! Oh, and a nice cup of hot chocolate (with marshmallow!) to round it off! T

IT'S BACK!! The Saturday morning run is here......by popular demand (debateable!) so dust off the trainers and set the alarm. Meet on Saturday(tomorrow) at the Pimple (Near the Golf Club) at 7.30....Start the day with an invigorating jog in the wonderful Dartmoor air (and probably rain!! but who cares, skin only leaks outwards!!) REMINDER, the club is out of Easter holiday mode now and all training, including mini's are back to normal times. Just thought I would mention the article in the Tavy Times about one of our seniors, Theo Evans, this young man never gave up and is a fine example of the spirit that is needed to succeed. His opponent was taller and heavier (and it was a first bout for them both) but lacked Theo's ambition and drive. Way you go Theo!

Sorry for the lack of activity on Facebook, apologies to you all for this, I now have many roles to fill and I'm just getting to grips with everything!! We have boxers entered in events and I shall try to keep you all up to date with the club's programme. When events are confirmed I will post them. We still have junior and senior new joiners and the club continues to grow, the shortage is not in boxers, but coaches, if you can help come along and see me, you would be most welcome. This weekend I hope we can reinstate the Saturday morning run, so wind up those alarm clocks! No such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing!! T

There will be no training tonight, Friday 30th (Good Friday). Ladies Boxercise and carded boxers will be held on Monday 2nd April. On Tuesday the 3rd we will go back to our normal routine and times.
