Wednesday's club night was a fitting end to our Emerald Anniversary year. Jane Haas did us very proud with her demonstration entitled 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' which was full of brilliant floral designs just perfect for this time of year, including a new take on a door wreath (see pic), a mantelpiece arrangement and a New Year's Eve star (see pic) all with the odd touch of sparkle or bling. As always our club entries for the competition were really beautiful designs of a really high quality. I think we should all be very proud that we get such a lot of entries every month. I'd also like to say Happy Birthday again to our Chairman Wendy who is celebrating a milestone birthday! And may I take this opportunity to also wish all our members and page followers a very happy Christmas indeed!

November's club night was a Christmas wreath workshop using wire rings and various materials to cover and dress them. Ribbon, wool, raffia, sisal, hessian and various other items. Everyone had a great time being creative whilst chatting away with fellow club members and the committee were so impressed with the amazingly different of different rings. Here are some photo's so you can see just how great they were.

November's club night is a workshop where members get to make Christmas wreaths using copper rings. The Club will provide the ring but members need to bring their own desired material to cover the ring and the necessary tools to do so. Committee members will be on hand to help throughout the night. Looking forward to seeing you there!
