Tain Highland Gathering, sponsored by Glenmorangie plc, takes place on SATURDAY 8th JULY 2017 The 25th Tain Highland Gathering, sponsored by Glenmorangie plc will take place on SATURDAY 8th July 2017 at Glenmorangie Ground, on the A9, just north of Tain.
A traditional Highland Gathering with all the usual events - Highland Dancing, Piping, Track & Field Events, Cycling, and, of course, the Heavies!
Local Events commence 11am - Open Events from 2pm
Entry - Adults £6.00; Under 16 £2.50, Car Park £2, Programme £1 Toddlers (pre-school) - free
Hill Race takes place on Friday 7th July 2017 at 7pm
Registrations from 6pm at the games field
Entry £5.00 (over 16s only)

Delighted to see SHGA Athlete of the Year presented to Tony Daffurn. Tony attended Tain and many of the north games this season for the first time. He broke many of the ground records in the area, including two at Tain. A lovely guy and we hope to see him back next year. Well done Tony!

Nothing more satisfying than peering 👀through the blinds on Games day and seeing blue skies and sunshine ☀️ ..... it's going to be a great day. Hope to see you all at the 25th Tain Highland Gathering folks!
Hill Race tonight from 7pm. Registrations from 6pm at games field. Entry £5, over 16s only. (6.75k (approx) from Tarlogie road-end to the seat at the top, then all the way back down again. Some nice views if you have time to look!)
