Worth a read. A lot of the vet practices we use will not use this vaccine L4 and only use L2. The choice is yours as always but Bramley will certainly never have it again after his reaction which I put down to his vaccination of L4.

Slippery floors and arthritic dogs do not mix..
Watch this to understand why we do not like the use of check chains on our Labradors. Dogs that come into rescue with a check chain have them removed immediately. My own dog will pass out if you put even a slip lead round his neck and he pulls so he always wears a harness which is what we recommend. Constant pulling on a check or slip lead can cause damage and can result in laryngeal paralysis. Please be kind to your dog and buy him a harness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_gmfBUFP2o&sns=fb

Apparently anyone can report a really bad breeder to the police/RSPCA under the Animal Welfare Act and it could be a criminal matter.... Statement from Defra includes: · Anyone knowingly breeding animals with genetic defects could be considered to be committing an offence under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. · Local authorities and the police have specific powers to enforce the Animal Welfare Act 2006, for example in relation to powers of entry and seizure. However, anyone can take out a prosecution under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, and it is on this basis that the RSPCA prosecute people for animal cruelty.
