Hi everyone hope your all well and ready for the bank holiday weekend. so here we have a new addition to the list which is the Persian cat, I was approached by a lady called Sandra asking if I would commission her the Persian cat and work from photos of her cat. I'm really happy with how this one has turned out and Sandra was very happy with it too. As usual I carved the head from lime and fitted to a lovely hazel shank. I'm now going to be posting a new stick every month for you to look at and my next stick is going to be the British bulldog. Hi everyone hope your all well, so here's another new stick that I was commissioned to make last year which is a Staffordshire bull terrier. I was approached by a lady called Bernadette who asked me if I'd take on the commission of a Staffordshire bull terrier and we were both pleased with the end result. I carved the head from lime and fitted to a hazel shank which had some lovely markings on it. Hi everyone hope your all well and are having a great week, so here's a black cocker spaniel that I was commissioned to do just before Christmas from a lady called Lynn for her husband. I worked to my best from photos of her dog that she sent me and the head was carved from lime and the shank was a lovely dark hazel shank which matched the colour of the head. I would like to say thank you to Lynn for the commission and it was a pleasure to make for you. I would like to apologise if you didn't receive a reply on my previous posts from over the Christmas period, I had a problem with Facebook and I couldn't reply back to people on the posts but I did manage to get back to my private messages. I carved the head from lime and made the beak from rams horn then fitted to a lovely hazel shank. I've got plenty more sticks to show you which I'll share with you at the beginning of next year, this year has been a great year for me and I'm now fully up and running in my new workshop. Hi everyone hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas and are ready for the new year, things have been manic here and I'll get back to you all soon for the people who commented on my previous post. As some of you may have seen I've updated all my albums and added new sticks in there for you to look at. This is a repost from a previous post due to having problems with Facebook when I posted it last time so id really appreciate a like, share and a comment on this please if possible. his is a very special stick I made which is a border terrier, the stick was made for my uncle Danny who sadly lost his dog and best friend last year who was called dasher. I worked to my best from photos of dasher and the outcome was fantastic and we were all happy with the stick especially my uncle Danny who assured me the likeness of dasher was spot on.
