The Magic Lantern Mystery: On Saturday the 17th February, we will be holding the very first Murder Mystery evening at the Quay as a social night for SDS, family and friends. The story (an original by Malcolm Hollister and Adam Webster) revolves around a Magic Lantern Show, which takes a deathly twist. Join Inspector Sheerluck and Sergeant Trudge in their ‘who dunnit’ investigations, picking up important clues and interrogating the suspects through the evening. The Magic Lantern Mystery is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm in the Quay auditorium. The evening incorporates several liquid refreshment breaks and plenty of good fun. As this show is based in the 1890s, feel free to dress up in your corsets and finery if you really can't resist it, or just come as you are! On Sunday 3rd December at 7.30pm a motley crew of SDS members are appearing under the guise of Quay Productions in a seasonal entertainment entitled Number One Quay Lane. Belinda, Geoff, Sarah, Kerys, Paul, Jaclyn, Matt, Richard, Anne and Linda would like to invite you to join them in a mixture of seasonal songs, festive carols and light hearted sketches as a group of friends and neighbours get ready for Christmas. With the ticket price of £12.50 including a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, Number One Quay Lane has something for everyone. Do come along and join us!

Hello all, just a quick reminder that The Rivals is running from 5th to 9th September. "This delightful comedy of manners by Richard Brinsley Sheridan mocks the conventions of romantic love, even as it follows the fortunes of two pairs of young lovers."
