Now Open A day centre that provides day care to older people. Enabling them to remain in their community and be as independent as possible. Penna Daycare Centre (Formally Known as Feather Bed House Day Care Centre) offer older people a range of activities, helping them to continue to live in their own home or with their family or carer.
Our day centre provide a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment.
We offer practical and therapeutic support and the opportunity for you to:enjoy the variety of activities provided;develop and practice your skills; find out about the things you can and cannot manage; and get access to a variety of health and care services.
The day centre are accessible by all. Toilet and bathroom facilities are available ,which are fully accessible for people with disabilities.
The Day Care centre also provide a choice of lunches and have tea making facilities.
Centre activities include:
Theme days
Knitting and Sewing
Exercise and Relaxation classes
Video shows
Cookery
Art & Crafts Sessions
Crosswords, Chess and Dominoes
Entertainers
Internet.
Other support at the centre
We can make arrangements for users to see a wide range of other professionals including:
district nurse-the doctor- the chiropodist

Clients have been working hard in Knitting, Stuffing and Sewing to Create these. If anyone has any spare wool they could donate for their new project, in which they hope to sale in aid of the mini Bus appeal. Clients would be very grateful if you could drop them off to Penna Homecare Daycare Centre Willow House Slad Rd Stroud.
