Here at Craighill Farm we breed Pygmy Goats
They are bred for pets and are all fully registered with the Pygmy Goat Club
All our Goats are family pets  We started off in 2009 with our first Pygmy goats, females Milly and Martha, who we still have today. Since then we have expanded our herd, we now have 8 breeding nannies, 2 billy goats and the kids. All our goats are handled daily, they are all very friendly. In 2014 we plan on showing our goats as much as we can! So if you see us please say hello if your interested in any of our herd. Our goats are used to loads of different animals on our farm, including sheep, horses, cattle, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. In the summer months they often share a field with a variety of different animals. They are also used to children of all ages. Although they have horns they are nothing to be scared of.
By law to purchase a goat you must have a holding number along with a herd number, and this applies even if you are to keep them in a back yard, your local DEFRA office can help you with this.
All goats have to be identified by having ear-tags, one in each ear which we do before they leave our farm.
