This new horse has a foot with a contracted lateral branch of the foot. Fitting the shoe to support the coronary band and where the foot should be the pictures show how the hoof wall is expanding and growing wider at the top of the foot after just one shoeing encouraging this growth.

Some before and after shots from a new horse this week. Nothing special just a level trim and a shoe that supports the foot. One of the feet had the remains of a small abscess in the sole so I cleaned it out and picked it with some Red Horse Products hoof stuff underneath the shoe.
