All Pulling Together
Description
A Community Association with a difference located on Park Parade, Stonehouse. Bullying, violence and harassment is not tolerated on this page. The All Pulling Together Community Association was founded in October 2010 and set up by the local residents of Park Estate Stonehouse. It began to be a success and decided to make a more permanent base and set up its centre on 21st March 2011.
Who We Are:
APT Central is the home of All Pulling Together (APT) Community Association. APT Central also hosts a number of local community and statutory organisations. Together through APT Central we are all working together to improve the quality of life on the Park estate and Stonehouse. At the heart of the project is a team of local volunteers.
Services Available @ APT Central:
There is a weekly timetable of activity that includes drop in sessions to see Citizen Advice Bureau, Youth drop ins, GL communities debt advice, Job Vacancy and Training Information. Information from housing officers from Stroud District Council, Knightstone and Two Rivers Housing Association as well as information on free education courses provided by Stroud College. We can also offer a secure place for people who wish to talk to police and try to support local residents with other difficulties they may be facing. We have a newly established relationship with the Food Bank and Fair Shares.
If you need access to phones, computers and the internet for job or home hunting you can come in and use our facilities free of charge, also help with CV’s is available.
All this is provided locally for the first time because we can work together through APT Central. We are also working together to support new services and activities such as local play programmes, fun days and new courses based on local residents suggestions.
Partners @ APT Central:
APT Community Association, Stonehouse Partnership, Fair Shares, Psalms, Stroud College, CAB, Stroud Credit Union, Stonehouse Town Council, Gloucestershire Gateway Trust, Stroud District Council, 2Rivers Housing Association, Gloucestershire Police, Play Gloucestershire, Mid-Counties Co-op, GL communities, Adult Ed.
